About Houston D1 Hornets

Houston D1 Hornets was created out of a sense of urgency that comes from our concern about the plight of resilient adolescents and children in the Greater Houston and surrounding areas.  These adolescents and children are prey to those that do not have their best interest in mind.  Parents are working, schools are closed, after school care is not in the budget and predators lie in wait.

Texas D1 Hornets exist for the purpose of protecting our community’s most valuable natural resource…the children. As an organization, we are committed to enhancing educational opportunities, literacy, public safety, fostering amateur sports completion, and preventing cruelty to children.
